Story of the July 2023 Fideris sound journey
This July 2023 live sounds event was initiated by a short message from Ursula Huggenberger on June 16 on the Tonalibus website: “Dear Ulrico, I am about to start Fideris sound events, this is in Grisons [Switzerland] in a small church. I do not wish to do my first concert alone…” A brief e-mail exchange and subsequent phone call confirmed common ground in the way Ursula and Ulrico work with sound. Meeting for the first time Thursday July 6, they briefly demonstrated instruments considered for the evening’s event to each other, practiced shortly, tuned in, built up the set in the local church, and enjoyed their natural sound journey that same evening with an audience of over twenty who didn’t seem to want to leave afterwards.
