Pentatonalities consist of five pitches to the octave. The pitch pattern of regular pentatonalities includes two Reach steps or <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Augmented_second\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#f7b320\" class=\"has-inline-color\">augmented seconds<\/mark><\/a>. One whole step separates them on one side, and two whole steps on the other. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#f7b320\">PentaReg \/ PentaPhryg is one of a few Reg(ressive) tonalities in the <a href=\"https:\/\/tonalibus.org\/tonalities\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#f7b320\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Tonalibus catalogue<\/mark><\/a> of anchored tonalities. As Reg tonality, it includes its quart but not its quint. This gives its fundamental a different, more elusive feel. And its quart takes on more of a fundamental anchor role, because the actual fundamental is its quint, the first harmonic or overtone beyond octaves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#f7b320\">The correlation of <a href=\"https:\/\/tonalibus.org\/tonalities\/pro-reg-tonalities\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#f7b320\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Pro(gressive) and Reg(ressive) tonalities<\/mark><\/a> as twins and their inversions is a current focus of Tonalibus experiments. More about this could be forthcoming in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#f7b320\">You may enjoy a sound sample or tonality loop as sound mantra for <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Contemplation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#f7b320\" class=\"has-inline-color\">contemplation<\/mark><\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Meditation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#f7b320\" class=\"has-inline-color\">meditation<\/mark><\/a>. This can help with upliftment, purification, and focusing. Or it could simply be used as soothing background sound for relaxation and regeneration.
