A 438 Hz) &#8212; 8-string guitar &#8212; May 2026 &#8212; 4:46 &#8212;<strong> <\/strong>(loop via right-click, if available)<\/mark><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-190a28baa2dd19660d7f055f6082a6a0\" style=\"color:#f7b320\">This HexaReMix sound sample is also available under the title &#8220;Neither nor it is&#8221;. Another piece using this tonality derivative is \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/tonalibus.org\/en\/sounds\/2025-sounds-and-images\/autumn-2025-sounds\/#now\">Future memory past now<\/a>\u201d on the new album &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/tonalibus.org\/shop\/tonalibus-r-s-t-album\/\" type=\"page\" id=\"38450\">Tonalibus R, S &amp; T<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0c63b4486c4b3b8da5cbb8393ad51048\" style=\"color:#f7b320\">HexaReMix, the tonality of this moment, is a <a href=\"https:\/\/tonalibus.org\/tonalities\/hexatonalities\/\" type=\"page\" id=\"477\">hexatonality<\/a> derivative, with six pitches to the octave. It is fully anchored with its quart and fifth. Then, as its name indicates, the lower tetrachord contains Re, the major second. And the upper is analogous to Mix(olydian) with the major sixth and minor seventh. Of particular interest is that this derivative does not include a third, neither minor nor major. This gives it a uniquely balanced character. Particularly in Western music, a primary distinction is drawn between major and minor tonalities, which this derivative entirely relinquishes. Further, upper and lower tetrachords each show symmetrical balance in themselves. This provides HexaReMix an almost crystalline quality of striking equilibrium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6b444181a2277f2f52981e6e6731e9fb\" style=\"color:#f7b320\">The Tonalibus catalogue of tonalities does not fully document derivatives. This can help with upliftment, purification, and focusing. Or it could simply be used as soothing background sound for relaxation and regeneration.
