Raagas correlations in the Fidibus shop now present four two-page tables that list over eighty Hindustani raagas with their Tonalibus nomenclature correlations:
— alphabetic by raaga name
— by lower or by upper tetrachord
— by Tonalibus correspondence level

By now, Playlist P “Discovering new horizons” has grown to 7 pieces over 51 minutes with the addition of three June 2024 Sounds and the first of July 2024 Sounds:
— “नट सरस Nat Saras” — moon dance by a pond — with some correspondence to the raaga Nat Bhairav — (↑)
— “Between light and sound” — Hungarian Gypsy equanimity — in between, in more ways than one — (↓↓)

The yearly Sounds pages also present Tonalibus image collections, one for the first and another for the second half of each recent year. In “2024 sounds and images“ the first half 2024 image collection has concluded and the second half 2024 image collection started.

Two tonality derivatives — PentaMinMix / PentaEolDor and PentaLoPhryg / Bairagi Bhairav — are new in the extended pentatonalities tables and tonalities overview. (Derivatives are not further detailed in the catalogue.)

New cooperation recordings with Christina Braun (voice) are now in playlist Coop B and April 2024 Sounds:

On Spotify, a most significant online music platform, Tonalibus listeners have recently more than tripled, the new release of May 4, 2024 “Breath of life chant” was already played many hundred times, and the piece “Once upon a time — again and still on the way” from June 2023 has well exceeded a thousand times.

“Breath of life chant” — the answer within — appears globally on May 4, 2024 as new Tonalibus single on:

March 2024 sounds concluded and playlist Tonalibus O “Balance of life and love” by now offers six pieces within 62½ minutes of meditative music, including new:
— “Tears of joy” — mantra of soul with a waking toddler’s song, or as plain mantra of soul — multi-octave G# chant with a fusion of mantra syllables like Ōṃ / Aum and HU, unifying much of the spiritual foundation of Tonalibus
— “Perfect imperfection” — one step closer (below)
— “Consciousness” — the one state worth considering
— “Breath of life chant” — whistle breath plain — new additional version highlighting whistle breath alone

During extremely soft mantra chanting, so soft it is more breathing than chanting, in a flowing transition from the syllable HU to OM, a faint, largely involuntary whistle sound can become apparent, whistle breath! This is very subtle but powerful and can aide in finding one’s fundamental pitch. The piece “Breath of life chant” is based on whistle breath.

Tonalibus started correlating Indian ragas with its catalogue of tonalities. A first fruit of that is the correspondence of the Bairagi Bhairav raag with ReachMin / Phrygian dominant.

“Kulturzimmer Heimlich” in Bern on 2/17 attrached some thirty folks and resulted in two live concert recordings:
— “Fearless floating” — in the flow of life and love
— “Open door and heart” — an opportunity to step out

“Hallo Stille” on 3/1 at the festival Stilles Zürich assembled some twenty individuals. All gradually opened up to the experience of silence led by Nicole Keller of Visionshaus. This was supported by gentle 8-string guitar sounds.

Jan-Feb 2024 sounds and playlist N “Opening of white light” are now complete with among other new recordings:
— “Embraced in silence” — so close, and yet so far
— “Know what you know” — very and nothing special
— “Gently rotating fifth wheel” — a plea for peace

March 2024 sounds and playlist O “Balance of life and love” (part of the new set “O, P & Q”) are now starting with:

The new triple album “Tonalibus I, J & K”, released globally on many music platforms on January 29, experienced usage in its first week of already over 300 streams alone on Spotify. This is a small number compared with releases of popular musicians. However for Tonalibus this is a new record — most encouraging and appreciated!
